    Workshop on Institutional Effectiveness: A huge success

    Regent University College f Science and Technology is glad to welcome, for the second time, Prof. Hamdi Ali, a Professor Emeritus, form the Maastricht School of Management, the Netherlands. Prof. Ali arrived on June 4, 2010 and will leave on June 17, 2010


    Prof Ali is teaching the second intake of the Regent Maastricht AMBA Accredited MBA, the only MBA run in Ghana with AMBA status. As the students s"sit under his feet" for quality teaching and delivery of Finance in International Markets, we know, from previous experience of the first class of the MBA, that they will be tansformed in their thinking of financial markets and positioned to lead or support the investment activities of their companies and offer strategic financial services and advice at their various work places.


    Prof. (Emeritus) Ali holds a PhD from the University of Illonois (USA) in the Area of Accounting and Finance. Furhter, he has professional designation in the field of accounting (Certified General Accountant of Canada), fraud examination (Certified Fraud Examiner) and in anti-money laundering (Certified Anti-money Laundering Specialist), both from the USA.

    Prof. Ali has performed numerous consultancy assignments in the areas of financialand accountancy systems in addition to administrative, organizational and feasibility studies. He has taught at several universities in Europe, Africa, North America and the Middle East.


    His research interests are in accounting and related business areas, applying factor analysis to financial statements ratios, and the strategic dimension of management accounting. He lectures in Finance in International Markets, Financial Accounting, Advanced Management Accounting, and Management Control Systems. He has also written many books and refereed articles in his specialized areas.
